EcoFert, Inc. is excited to welcome Desert Memorial Park (Park) of the Palm Springs Cemetery District (District) as a new client. The Park, which opened in 1956, is an iconic location; being the last resting place of such luminaries as Frank Sinatra and Sonny Bono. The Park has 18 landscaped acres with plans for considerable expansion.
EcoFert has completed the installation of a fertigation delivery system at the Park, which includes an enclosure. This delivery system will allow EcoFert to apply specially prescribed soil amendments through the irrigation systems at the Park.
EcoFert will consult with Kathleen Jurasky, District Manager for the Palm Springs Cemetery District, to ensure the sustainability and ability to maintain the Park in a cost-effective manner. In addition to providing specially prescribed organic-based soil amendments, system maintenance, and annual soil testing, EcoFert will consult with the District on water conservation, irrigation system operation, and maintenance practices.
EcoFert’s cemetery clients include the Diocese of Orange, Orange County Cemetery District, Mission Memorial Cemetery (Seaside), and Temecula Cemetery.
